Brand and Sponsorship Manager

We're the Health Insurance Fund of Australia, but our friends call us HIF and we have an exciting opportunity for a Brand and Sponsorship Manager with experience in a similar role and great people skills, to join our team.

About the role:

We are looking for a Brand and Sponsorship Manager to play a crucial role in shaping and managing HIF's brand strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's vision, values, and strategic plans. This role requires someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performing team.

This is a full-time, 12 month fixed-term contract. The role is scheduled to commence mid-February 2026.

Key attributes and skills include:

• Lead the implementation of HIF's brand and sponsorship strategies to maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring distinctiveness and consistency across all channels.
• Develop, plan, and execute brand campaigns across various media channels to ensure alignment with member expectations and enhance brand awareness and consideration.
• Ownership of consolidated HIF media and marketing plan, ensuring cohesive and effective communication strategies
• Develop high-quality, commercially successful annual programs that leverage HIF's key brand and member benefit sponsorships, including the Perth Wildcats, Little Green Pharma, St John Urgent Care, and West Perth Football Club, in alignment with HIF values and purpose.
• Maximise opportunities for cross-selling and amplification of sponsorship and partnership programs, particularly within HIF-owned channels, to achieve growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong external relationships with potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters.
• Collaborate with Media, Communications and Member Advocacy team to create high quality external communication and sponsorship marketing materials as required.

What we're looking for in you

• 10+ years in a similar role plus a Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications.
• In depth knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management and good understanding of media channels with ability to measure impacts.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives that highlight the best of HIF, engaging and resonating with diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational, time management and problem solving skills
• High level communication and interpersonal skills with high level internal and external stakeholder management skills.
• Multi-level Brand, Sponsorship, Marketing/Campaign management.
• Understanding of market and brand research methodologies and their application.
• Experience in strategic development as well as hands-on implementational work.
• Demonstrated experience with design and AI tools- Adobe Creative, Canva Copilot.
