**The role and what we are looking for**

The Group Manager - Brand will lead the development, implementation and measurement of strategies and initiatives that support the growth of the Capricorn brand portfolio. This leader will strengthen the brand's relationship with its target audience, safeguard its image and create a loyal Member base that will continue to support Capricorn over the long term.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and implementation of the Brand Strategy for the Capricorn group, ensuring alignment with group strategy, vision, and purpose.
- Manage the portfolio of Capricorn brands across the Group and determine the most appropriate positioning for each brand to create and maintain a positive image and reputation in the target audience's minds.
- Manage the development, review, and communication of brand guidelines for the Group.
- Work closely with marketing, creative services, internal communications, and external agencies to ensure consistency across all brand-related touchpoints.
- Define the measures used to determine brand effectiveness, monitor, and report on brand performance and use the results to inform future activities.
- Establish and manage brand partnership and sponsorship initiatives, utilising an evaluation framework to ensure they build brand equity and deliver value to our members.
- Manage and continually develop the Capricorn Rewards program to ensure it delivers value for Members..
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that all efforts are aligned to the Capricorn brand's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and contribute to brand-related projects on behalf of the Capricorn Experience team.
- Lead, coach and develop a small team, ensuring individuals have clarity of team and individual goals, accountabilities, and responsibilities.
- Foster a culture that is open to change and supports continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

**Experience**
- Extensive experience in brand management and marketing
- Demonstrated experience leading people and managing resources to deliver objectives.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications or related discipline.
