We are looking for a sponsorship and client services specialist for a short-term contract

**4 Weeks Contract**

**Your New Company**

Our client runs an established elite social institution and administrator of a sports entertainment industry.

**Your New Role**

This role has a particular focus on client stewardship with a range of support duties across the sponsorship and business development area.
- Undertake all aspects of client stewardship and support the Sponsorship and Business Development Manager across business generation including
- Liaising with sponsors on routine business, to ensure timely response and a great customer experience
- Communicating sponsor requirements / requests across relevant internal teams
- Liaising with colleagues in Finance, Marketing and Events to ensure sponsorship requirements are delivered according to contractual obligations - this might include arranging tickets and hospitality, adverts for the race book, logo updates etc.
- Assisting with administration of client feedback surveys, compilation of feedback. measurement data, structure of reporting, assisting with analysis
- Following up on event invitations to prospects and VIPs, influencers
- Conducting market research as required into sponsor activities at other racecourses / sporting venues / conferences etc.
- Attending / assisting at events as required, sometimes out of office hours or at weekends.
- Generating purchase orders and invoices etc. and all aspects of sponsor management administration.
- Supporting the BDM in drafting new contracts and business proposals
- Assisting the BDM with meeting follow ups, actions and ideas capture

**What You'll Need to Succeed**

**Education/Certificates/Licenses**
- Tertiary education is desirable

**Experience and Knowledge**
- At least five years’ work experience in a relevant environment
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal ability
- Discretion and diplomacy
- The ability to work under direction and on own initiative
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience of working effectively with a database - accurate data entry and reporting

**Desirable, but not essential**
- Knowledge of the racing environment would be an advantage
- Experience working in a sponsorship or client engagement role would be desirable
