Room Leader Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional education and care in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.

• Prepare engaging materials and resources that support children's learning and growth.

• Foster a culture where you and your team build positive, respectful relationships with every child in your care.

• Lead and support your team in managing and supervising children's daily routines.

• Champion inclusivity in the classroom, promoting cooperative behaviour and teamwork among all children.

• Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.

• Track and maintain detailed, accurate records of children's progress and development.

• Maintain open, effective communication with families and all stakeholders.

• Commit to ongoing professional development to continually grow your skills and expertise and knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within early childhood education.

• "Part-Time Position – Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, between the hours of 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Shifts vary within these times.

Minimum 15 hours per week can be up to 37.5 hours

• Strong knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, associated regulations, and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

• Valid WA Working with Children Check, Mandatory Reporting Training, and Food Safety & Allergy Training.
