Our Busy Bees Mermaid Waters is a 98-place service that feels both welcoming and secure, with brilliant facilities and amazing Educators. The service strives to provide each child with the best start in life. Our beautiful modern service is conveniently located in the heart of Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast.

Essential Qualifications- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).-
- First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.- Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting.- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.- Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.- Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader or similar role in an early childhood setting.- Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs can thrive and learn.- Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.- Proficiency in using relevant software for children's documentation, communication with families and educational planning.
