The Role - Project Engineer
The Eire Project Engineer will assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, resolving technical issues, and monitoring project progress and quality. The role of the Project Engineer will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting technical analyses, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within defined timelines and budgets. The candidate that will successfully secure the role will have a solid background in water and sewer construction.
What You Bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years experience as a Site or project Engineer, specifically in water treatment, water network infrastructure, or transport infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing subcontractors, and demonstrated commitment to Work Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards
- Familiarity with WHS standards and contract management practices
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Project.
- Must have current driver's license and be open to travel in the Central Coast region dependent on project locations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
- You want to work safely, keep your team safe and will follow WHS procedure
