Recent growth within the organisation has created an opportunity for a hard-working, reliable **Production Manager** to join the team based in our **Berkeley Vale** location.

Reporting to the **Founders** this position is an **integral** part of the team responsible for managing systems, production and most importantly leading our people. As this is a new position, you will have the opportunity to **make it your own**, creating and implementing proven processes for production success.

This important position will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Implementing the manufacturing strategy, including assisting with the creation of policies, processes and procedures within the production team.
- Efficiently plan and lead the production team to meet company targets within the projected budget and forecast.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and implementing continuous improvements to exceed customer expectations.
- Ensuring WHS practices are implemented and followed throughout.
- Identifying and deploying technical skillsets, resources and systems required to deliver important projects.
- Conducting risk assessments on processes and tasks within the department and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- The leading coach and developing a high-performing manufacturing team to meet required company objectives and targets.
- Driving the team to deliver department KPIs, including reviewing and assessing individuals' ongoing performance.
- Attending and delivering required meetings including team daily toolbox talks.
- Providing reports to the leadership team as and when required.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
- Previous experience in a similar position within the Manufacturing or Automotive Industry
- A passion for safety and the ability to influence health & safety practices
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
- Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organisational, planning, scheduling and quality skills
- Ability to manage production budget and inventory
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Competent in problem-solving, planning and making decisions

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Trade Qualification (preferred)
- Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Qualification
