About the Business

Our Aboriginal Practice and Partnerships team coordinates activities that aim to improve outcomes for Aboriginal clients, their families and communities. This includes informing DHS policy and practice, supporting staff who are Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal working in Aboriginal-focused programs, and providing direct supports to Aboriginal young people and their families in partnership with community.

Role Details

The Senior Business Support Officer is a role within Community and Aboriginal Partnerships and is accountable to the Business Coordinator, MAYFS for:

  • Providing project and administrative support across the Aboriginal Practice and Partnerships Directorate.
  • Providing an efficient, effective and comprehensive administration support service and assisting with a rage of financial support services to facilitate the date-to-day operations of the business.
  • Delivery and maintaining efficient work practice and administrative support services to work groups, clients, and stakeholders t achieve the business unit's objective and goals.

Special Conditions

Must hold a current Australian issued driver's licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
