Do work that matters:

The Director, Conduct plays a critical leadership role in embedding a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical behaviour across Institutional Banking & Markets. This role leads the development and implementation of conduct risk frameworks, supports governance, and ensures alignment with regulatory expectations across the jurisdictions where IB&M operates.

Key responsibilities for this role includes:

  • Contribute to the execution of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework within IB&M.

  • Partner with senior leaders to embed conduct principles into business practices, decision-making, and customer outcomes.

  • Oversee conduct risk assessments, breach reporting, and thematic reviews.

  • Provide expert input on regulatory matters including obligations and expectations of regulators including ASIC.

  • Contribute to IB&M & Group engagement with regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders on conduct matters.

  • Contribute to internal governance forums focused on conduct and reputational risk.

  • Develop and deliver conduct-related training and awareness programs.

  • Monitor and report conduct metrics to the governance forums at IB&M & Group level.

  • Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and ethical leadership.

  • Deep understanding of conduct risk, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at executive levels.

  • Demonstrated leadership in driving cultural change and ethical decision-making.

  • Experience managing complex issues with reputational impact.

  • Exposure to markets and commodities, with an understanding of product-focused strategies will be highly regarded.
