An experienced
Data
Project Manager
is required to deliver a critical data platform project within a large and complex government environment. The role focuses on managing the implementation and expansion of enterprise data platform capabilities, enabling data-driven decision-making through scalable, secure, and modern infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical leads to define and manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Engage with stakeholders across internal business units and partner agencies to drive delivery of project outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets in collaboration with strategic finance teams, including tracking of actuals and forecasting.
  • Provide regular program board reporting and prepare briefing notes for executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, and reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering
    data platform implementation and expansion projects
    in complex environments.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving
    skills with the ability to manage both detail and strategic outcomes.
  • Proven experience applying
    Agile and DevOps
    methodologies in project delivery.
  • Highly effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience working with
    health or government data platforms
    and reporting environments.
  • Familiarity with
    Microsoft data platforms
    , including Azure, Power BI, or Microsoft Fabric.

This is a short- term opportunity to deliver meaningful data capability improvements in a government setting, working with modern cloud technologies and a strong collaborative delivery team.
