About the role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Clinical Care Lead – Occupational Therapy to join our In-Home Care team in Melbourne on a Full-time basis . The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our Home Care Occupational Therapists while providing high quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to our aged care clients within an In-Home Care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work Monday to Friday.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the provision of Occupational Therapy clinical care, recruitment, orientation and ongoing clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapy team.
Support and foster growth within the Occupational Therapy service, including the intake and assessment of new clients.
Deliver clinical care in alignment with current best practice guidelines, while respecting the unique needs, preferences, and values of each client.
Operate in accordance with Baptcare's procedures and work instructions, ensuring full compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements, including all relevant workplace health and safety legislation.
Act responsibly to safeguard your own safety and that of others in the workplace.

You will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in delivering Occupational Therapy services within the community aged care sector.
- Proven experience working within Commonwealth-funded Aged Care programs, including the Home Care Package (HCP) Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) Program.
- Comprehensive understanding of the New Aged Care Act 2024 and the upcoming Support at Home program.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision, guidance, and leadership to Occupational Therapists and support staff.
- Strong experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams to plan and deliver holistic, client-centred care for community-based older people.
- Demonstrated competence in managing and supporting change within complex and evolving service environments.
