Primary purpose of role:

As Senior Project Engineering Manager, your role will be to lead the Project Engineering team to deliver all technical aspects of 5B projects.

The role reports to the General Manager Delivery & Services and is based in Mascot, Sydney.

Core Accountabilities:

• Deliver 5B's solar projects globally together with the 5B Project Management team, customers and delivery partners.
• Implement 5B's innovative PV technology into our portfolio of projects, which range up to 100MW+.
• Grow and lead a team of talented electrical, structural, civil and PV engineers to deliver compliant, constructable and commercially optimised solutions.
• Feedback to the Technology team and drive continuous improvements to the implementation of our Maverick technology in commercial projects.
• Develop skill sets and capabilities within and outside of the team, (develop external contractors/consultants where effective and feasible).

The ideal candidate:

• A strong background in delivering large-scale ground-mount PV projects.
• Leading project/delivery engineering teams covering disciplines such as PV, Mechanical and Electrical.
• Drives for continuous improvement to pv solutions.
• A self starter with highly developed coordination and prioritisation skills.
• Is leading with practical engineering solutions and partners with Technology team to deliver.
• High emotional intelligence; highly developed stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborator in work style.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience delivering technical solutions to complex projects.
• 5+ years of experience working with ground-mount solar solutions.
• Experience leading a team of engineers, covering disciplines such as PV, Mechanical, and Electrical.
  

Qualifications:

Engineering Degree: PV, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil
