Collins Street Orthodontics working in conjunction with Collins Street Specialist Centre, is located in the unique Orthodontic Tower overlooking Melbourne's skyline in the iconic Manchester Unity Building. We have an exciting opportunity for a Treatment Coordinator to join our team, home to three board registered Specialist Orthodontists who are platinum elite Invisalign providers.

We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics. Within our orthodontic practice, Collins Street Orthodontics, we focus on providing the highest quality of service and care. Our team is knowledgeable and caring and whilst the team operates at a fast-paced environment, patient care remains a constant priority.

The opportunity:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a sales background who is willing to take their career to the next level and work within our established orthodontic team. The roster is flexible for either a part-time or full-time candidate, working 8am-6pm to match the clinic's opening and closing times.

Your duties would include but not limited to:

  • Consulting with new patients to discuss treatment options and payment plans.
  • Providing information and customer service to the general public.
  • Coordinating patients' treatment including referrals to general and specialist dentists.
  • Working closely with our Specialist Orthodontists and general practitioners.
  • Draw up Orthodontic contracts and enter payments.
  • Oversee the new patient experience within the practice and follow up and drive treatment starts.
  • Reporting on all aspects of your program.

What we are looking for:

  • A willingness to learn -This job will include on the job training.
  • A sales or administration background is essential.
  • Experience in the orthodontic industry (as a dental nurse or receptionist) desirable (not essential).
  • A passion for making people smile.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to take initiative.
  • Have the desire to take ownership, with motivation to improve the role.
  • An ability to prioritise your time, multi task and use common knowledge as required.
  • Experience with Orthotrac and D4W is desirable but not essential
