Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Principal Infrastructure Services Officer to support the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of infrastructure and maintenance programs across Queensland's education facilities.

You will provide strategic advice, policy development and leadership within the Maintenance Operations team to ensure effective asset management practices across schools and early childhood centres.

Rate: Circa $85.00 per hour + super

Location: Brisbane CBD

Contract Length: approximately 2 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team to plan and implement infrastructure and maintenance programs statewide
  • Develop and review policies, strategies and funding methodologies for asset and maintenance management
  • Provide high-level strategic advice on asset planning and program delivery to senior executives and stakeholders
  • Undertake data analysis and reporting to inform long-term investment and policy decisions
  • Prepare Ministerial briefings, correspondence and executive reports on infrastructure issues

About You

  • Background in asset management, infrastructure planning or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in policy development, program evaluation and data analysis
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Knowledge of contemporary asset management principles and government processes
