The Opportunity:

M&B Civil Pty Ltd, part of the Tasmea Group, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Concreter / Steel Fixer / Form Worker for an immediate start in the Cooper Basin (Moomba, SA). This full-time permanent role is ideal for candidates with strong civil construction and maintenance experience, particularly within council or public infrastructure environments.

Working on a 19:9 FIFO roster (ex-Adelaide Airport), you'll enjoy a stable and consistent schedule, 10-hour days with daily penalty rates, and full camp accommodation with meals provided.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves a combination of new construction and maintenance work, with duties including:

  • Concrete pouring, screeding, finishing, and surface repairs
  • Installation and maintenance of formwork systems and steel reinforcement
  • Interpreting and working from technical drawings and site specifications
  • Performing repair and maintenance of civil assets, including footpaths, culverts, pits, and concrete slabs
  • Conducting general manual labour such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
  • Operating power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
  • Installing hold-down bolts and fasteners for structural connections
  • Handling and applying construction materials such as grout, mortar, sealants, and epoxies
  • Supporting ongoing maintenance programs for civil infrastructure assets
  • Ensuring adherence to site safety procedures and permit requirements
  • Carrying out additional tasks as directed by the site supervisor

About You – Essential Requirements:

  • Must reside in South Australia (interstate applications will not be considered)
  • Current Driver's Licence (HR or HC highly regarded)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Solid experience in concreting, steel fixing, formwork, and civil infrastructure maintenance
  • Exposure to or understanding of council-style civil works (pavement, kerbing, pathways, drainage etc.)
  • Gas Detection and Permit to Work (or willing to undertake training)
  • High level of physical fitness and ability to work in remote outdoor environments
