We are seeking experienced and safety-focused FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement & Pouring) Tradespeople to join our team working on major civil infrastructure projects, including Western Power substations. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working within high-risk environments, understands the importance of quality workmanship, and can deliver consistently within project schedules.

You will be responsible for interpreting plans, preparing and constructing formwork, installing reinforcement, and carrying out high-quality concrete pours. The role requires strong technical capability across all FRP functions, paired with a commitment to following strict safety and compliance procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to accurately set out formwork and reinforcement.
  • Construct, install, and strip conventional formwork systems to required standards.
  • Cut, bend, tie and place reinforcing steel, including N12–N32 bar and reinforcement mesh.
  • Complete concrete works including pouring, screeding, bullfloating, power-trowelling, curing, and finishing to civil standards.
  • Conduct daily pre-start inspections and actively participate in safety processes including JSAs, SWMS, and toolbox meetings.
  • Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and project teams to ensure works are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work area at all times.

Essential Skills, Tickets & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' trade experience in concrete, steel fixing, and/or formwork within civil construction.
  • White Card (WA) – CPCWHS1001.
  • Current WA C-Class driver's licence.
  • Current Western Power inductions.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and site-specific requirements including drug & alcohol screening and Western Power medical (hearing, vision & musculoskeletal assessment).
  • Recipient In Charge (RIC) or Substation Entry authorisation highly regarded.
  • Additional high-risk licences such as Dogging, Rigging or Spotter tickets are desirable.
