Operations Supervisor

The role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic Team at our Head Office in Sydney. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain, logistics, warehousing/distribution and production assembly in order to maximise process efficiency and productivity. The Operations Manager is also responsible for helping to coordinate the company's EHS and Quality Management System

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and manage the overall operations strategy in line with company strategy and budgets.
• Manage the operational requirements of supply chain, warehousing/distribution and production assembly to maximise efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Develop and implement Lean/6S and continual improvement strategies to drive overall operational efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Analyse and implement operational improvements that remedy underperformance and respond to improvement opportunities.
• Deliver organisational objectives, through active engagement and collaboration with employees within all departments and at all levels in the organisation.
• Monitor and review Operational key performance indicators to ensure Hydreco strategic objectives are met.
• Assist in coordinating company EHS and compliance in line with Hydreco corporate requirements.
• Assist in the processes required for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management accreditation.
• Set clear direction and performance indicators for direct reports and measure against performance.
• Identify operational cost savings opportunities.

Qualifications & Education:

• Tertiary qualifications in Operations, or related field.
• Previous experience with operations, production assembly in a technical product environment is essential.
• Experience or exposure to supply chain management and warehousing/logistics is preferred.
• Experience and/or qualifications in Lean/6S is highly regarded.
• Experience operating in an ISO 9001 environment.

Essential Skills:

• Pronto / SAP Proficient: Strong understanding of Pronto and preferred SAP
• Proficient in MS Office: Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support product-related activities and communication.
