Internal Sales Consultant (Lead Conversion Specialist)

Job Overview

We are looking for a driven internal Sales Consultant who thrives on turning warm leads into closed deals. This is not a cold-calling role – your focus is high-velocity follow-up on qualified inbound leads from marketing campaigns, general enquiries and referrals. You'll own the entire conversion process, building rapport, overcoming objections, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead Follow-Up: Proactively contact and follow up on qualified sales leads to understand needs, address objections, and advance opportunities.

· Conversion Optimisation: Identify pain points, demonstrate product value, and customise pitches to convert leads into sales, aiming for high conversion rates.

· Relationship Building: Develop strong rapport with prospects, providing consultative advice and tailored solutions to meet their goals.

· Objection Handling and Closing: Confidently address price, competition, and timing concerns to secure commitments.

· Sales Pipeline Management: Update CRM with detailed notes, next steps, and accurate forecasting

· Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, products and external sales teams to refine lead qualification processes and share insights for better lead generation.

· Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed sales targets focused on lead conversion, while continuously improving follow-up strategies based on data and feedback.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

· Demonstrated experience in inside sales, telesales, or a similar role with a proven track record of following up on leads and achieving conversion goals.

· Experience in the home improvement sales industry is desired but not essential, as you will receive fully supported paid training.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong phone presence.

· Strong negotiating and closing skills

· Customer Service oriented

· Proficiency in CRM tools and Sales software

· Passion and drive to succeed

· Able to work weekends as needed
