Dispatcher Wanted – Help Keep Our Team Moving

Backs Electrical is a family-owned and operated business with over a decade of experience providing high-quality residential and Level 2 electrical services throughout Sydney.

We're expanding and are now on the lookout for a skilled dispatcher to join our growing team. You'll be working alongside our existing dispatcher to oversee daily schedules, allocate jobs, and keep our operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As a dispatcher at Backs Electrical, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll be the link between our technicians, clients, and suppliers—making sure jobs are scheduled on time, customers are kept informed, and the team stays on track.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Scheduling & Coordination – Assign jobs to technicians within booking timeframes and ensure efficient use of their day.
  • Client Care Calls – Reach out to customers daily to:

    • Check they're satisfied with completed works

    • Follow up on outstanding quotes

    • Lock in preventative maintenance and warranty appointments
  • Problem-Solving – Think on your feet to resolve scheduling challenges or operational issues.
  • Customer Communication – Provide clear updates on job progress, part deliveries, and upcoming bookings.
  • Team & Supplier Liaison – Keep strong lines of communication with technicians, suppliers, and customers to ensure everything flows smoothly.
