Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organized Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to be the primary point of contact for our customers. This role is essential in coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. Experience in customer service or dispatching is beneficial but not required, as we provide thorough training to help you excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing job status updates.
  • Assign service calls to technicians based on their skills, location, and availability, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely service.
  • Accurately enter customer and job details into our Flat Rate management software.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any post-service concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and team members to ensure seamless operations and clear information flow.
  • Assist with basic clerical tasks, such as logging customer concerns, managing schedules, and supporting the service department.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to offer additional services or products to customers, enhancing their experience and supporting company goals.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in customer service, dispatching, or the plumbing industry is advantageous but not mandatory. We provide full training for the right candidate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, Calendars) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Service Titan or ServiceM8 software is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer inquiries and provide effective solutions with a customer-focused approach.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with technicians, management, and other staff.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
