The Opportunity

We need our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) – someone who'll own the front end of our pipeline and help shape how we go to market. This is a genuine ground-floor role in a fast-moving Data & AI space. You'll be hunting net-new logos, opening doors, and booking meetings for the closers.

You'll report straight to the Head of Sales, sit in on leadership calls, and help write the playbook. If you're hungry to prove yourself and want to grow fast, this is it.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Build and work a target-account list focused purely on companies we've never spoken to.
  • Run high-volume outbound across phone (mainly), email and LinkedIn – whatever gets a response.
  • Make 30-50 dials a day, leave voicemails that actually get returned, and follow up relentlessly.
  • Test new angles, subject lines, and call scripts; keep what works, ditch what doesn't.
  • Turn "no one's ever heard of us" into a booked demo.

Lead Qualification & Pipeline Development

  • Triage inbound leads from the website, events, and marketing.
  • Dig into each account – tech stack, recent funding, pain points – before you pick up the phone.
  • Map the decision-makers and craft messages that land with them, not the gatekeeper.
  • Log everything in the CRM, track conversion rates, and keep the pipeline clean.

Relationship Building with New Prospects

  • Be the first human voice a prospect hears from Boon Solutions.
  • Explain in how data and AI can fix the problem they didn't know they had.
  • Handle the "we're all set" push-back without getting flustered.
  • Stay polite, stay curious, stay in touch.

Sales Collaboration & Learning

  • Shadow the Sales manager, join discovery calls, learn why deals win or lose.
  • Feed marketing the objections and questions you hear in the wild.
  • Spend time with the consultants so you can talk credibly about what we actually build.
  • Help onboard new customers once your meeting turns into a signed deal.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • Real experience making cold calls and booking meetings (any industry counts).
  • Comfortable with 30+ dials a day and the rejection that comes with it.
  • Used a CRM before and kept it up to date.
  • Can turn a blank spreadsheet into a pipeline.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Sold tech, SaaS, data, or AI before.
  • Used LinkedIn or similar.
  • Heard of BANT (we'll teach you if not).
