The opportunity

Due to growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for a Social Media Content Creator & Marketing Assistant to join the dynamic team at the Jacob Group of Companies. This full-time role based in Wodonga, VIC, will see you play a key part in developing and delivering engaging social media content to promote the company's diverse range of products and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a consistent brand identity across social media channels
  • Capture and edit quality photos and videos for use in campaigns, reels, and stories
  • Monitor social media performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics
  • Monitor, respond, and engage with followers to build strong online communities
  • Assist with other marketing initiatives such as email marketing, website updates and advertising campaigns
  • Assist with the creation and design of promotional materials (digital and print)
  • Help manage website content updates and basic SEO optimisation
  • Assist in developing email marketing campaigns (EDMs) and newsletters
  • Liaise with external suppliers, agencies, and partners as required
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media and digital marketing trends and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a social media content creation or digital marketing role
  • Strong creative flair and ability to produce visually engaging social media content
  • Photography/videography experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field is highly regarded but is not essential
