LTI Mindtree is seeking an experienced Azure Analytics Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Azure data platforms for public sector and large enterprise clients. This role requires strong expertise across Azure analytics services, data engineering best practices, and cloud architectural governance. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical capability, architectural leadership, and the ability to design secure, scalable, and future-ready data ecosystems. Active NV1/NV2 security clearance is mandatory.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Architect and implement end-to-end Azure data solutions spanning ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and governance.
  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide Azure data architecture standards that align with security, compliance, and operational frameworks.
  • Utilize key Azure services such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL to deliver high-performing solutions.
  • Build, optimize, and automate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF, Synapse, metadata-driven frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
  • Provide architectural leadership across data modeling, integration workflows, analytics pipelines, and cross-system interoperability.
  • Implement strong data governance, data quality, identity controls, and privacy protection across Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application teams to deliver structured, governed, and accessible datasets.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Ensure architecture alignment with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well-Architected Framework (WAF), and organizational technology standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across performance, reliability, cost optimization, operational excellence, and security posture.

*Qualifications*

  • Active NV1/NV2 Security Clearance (mandatory, role cannot be performed without it)
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Cloud Analytics, or enterprise data platform delivery
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Azure analytics services including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, Fabric, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT best practices, and distributed data processing
  • Experience working with both relational and NoSQL data systems, including PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB
  • Proven capability in designing scalable, secure, and governed cloud architectures at enterprise scale
  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, metadata-driven frameworks, and modern DevOps practices
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey complex architecture concepts to both technical and business audiences
