Accounts Administration Assistant - Albany, WA

Farmers Centre 1978 is a proudly family-owned and operated business, specialising in the sale and service of agricultural machinery across the Great Southern. We're on the lookout for an experienced and detail-driven Accounts Administration Assistant to join our busy Albany-based team.

This is a permanent part-time role (20+ hours per week), with flexible workdays and hours. We're happy to tailor a schedule that works for both you and our accounts team—whether that's school hours, a few full days, or something in between. Additional hours may be available during peak periods.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Data entry and accurate financial record keeping
  • Accounts receivable and payable, with a focus on supplier invoice processing
  • Month-end reconciliation activities and debtor statements
  • Setting up new debtor & creditor accounts in the system, completing credit applications and approvals
  • Scanning, filing, and general admin support
  • Handling general telephone and email enquiries

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid bookkeeping and accounts experience (qualifications not essential)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of accounts/bookkeeping experience is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (Office 365)
  • Confidence interpreting invoices and resolving discrepancies
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • The ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and follow established processes
  • A proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and recognising areas for improvement
  • Reliability, commitment, and a strong work ethic
