We're looking for a casual Psychology Administration Assistant to start immediately, with up to 5 days per week in Albany clinic.
Who are we?
Masters Psychology offers psychological services, counselling and assessments in a warm, open and non-judgemental environment. We operate out of dedicated clinics as a group private practice, where clients of all ages receive a personalised service that is tailored to their specific mental health needs. Additionally, our community outreach initiatives bring fresh approaches to mental health care through education and health promotion initiatives.
About the Role
You will be part of the front of house team and contribute to service provision in line with our systems of operation, communication and governance frameworks. Supporting the delivery of client-centered psychology services involves working cooperatively with the client care team and supporting the clinicians to ensure seamless clinic operations, clinician support and an unrivalled client experience.
This role involves:
Providing administrative support to all clinicians including booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments;
Attending to incoming telephone calls and checking voicemails, emails and SMS messages and ensuring a prompt response;
Booking clinician calendars;
Creating invoices and taking payments;
Submitting information to Medicare, NDIS plan managers, insurers and other funding sources;
Contributing to the clinic presentation;
Building strong relationships with the whole team;
Actively participating in team culture practices;
Essential Selection Criteria
- You must be able to work on a Monday.
You have previous experience in an administration role;
You are someone who wants to make an impact in our organisation, and a difference in our local community;
You have a confident, friendly manner and effective conflict resolution skills;
You can work well under pressure and multitask effectively;
You have excellent attention to detail;
You have a positive approach to change and are adaptable and flexible;
You have a considered, intuitive, warm and gentle approach;
You are an excellent communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and our team;
You are a team player with a willingness to collaborate with our team of clinicians and fellow client care team members to create a harmonious and peaceful work environment;
You have strong problem-solving skills and have a proactive approach to resolving issues and finding solutions to ensure a seamless client experience.
Desirable Selection Criteria
You've had experience with Coreplus or other Client Management software;
You are familiar with Microsoft 365 and technologically savvy;
You've had experience working in the mental health space.
