Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will identify funding and tender opportunities, coordinate high-quality submissions, and build strong partnerships with funding bodies, government, and philanthropic organisations. Your expertise will help shape are-able's future and ensure our initiatives are well-resourced and aligned with our vision and values.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research, monitor and pursue funding, grant, and tender opportunities.
  • Develop funding strategies for new and existing programs.
  • Coordinate timely and professional submissions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funding partners and stakeholders.
  • Provide advice, reporting, and continuous improvement strategies for future submissions.
Desired Skills and Experience
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience in funding applications and tender writing.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Communications, Writing & Publishing, Business, Public Policy).
  • Strong understanding of Australian government funding programs and corporate partnerships.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and are-able's values.
