Job description

We are a leading Australian property group that own, operate and develop a fast-growing portfolio of Lifestyle communities (land lease communities) and holiday parks across key urban and coastal markets. We employ over 1300 people across 120 parks and communities, with offices in the 3 eastern seaboard states.

Here at Ingenia, you can enjoy working within an organisation that genuinely cares for its people and is committed to creating communities where our residents and visitors can truly belong.

About The Role

We're looking for a Design Projects Coordinator to lead the charge on key projects; a unique role that blends design insight with hands-on project coordination and management.

While rooted in design, this role is heavily focused on project management, including pulling together tender documentation, working with suppliers to lock in specifications, and supporting national procurement.

You'll play a key part in our R&D efforts across Ingenia Lifestyle communities, helping define the right products and standards for our D&C builder contracts, all while managing multiple workstreams and collaborating with a passionate, solutions-focused team.

This role can be based out of either our Sydney Office or our Brisbane Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design reviews, site visits, and documentation to support the development of new home designs, community facilities, and masterplans
  • Standardise internal and external finishes, fittings, and equipment schedules, contributing to national procurement and tender readiness
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely delivery of project documentation and design best practices
  • Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement through operational design briefings and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following WHS procedures and contributing to risk identification and reporting

About You

  • Strong understanding of tender processes, project documentation, and volume construction
  • Proven experience coordinating design and construction projects, ideally within community-based masterplans
  • Solid grasp of residential building methods, design documentation, and relevant codes and regulations (including MHE)
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and solving problems with confidence
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills

Culture and Benefits

In return, we offer a competitive package, flexibility (including working from home for some roles), extensive training and development, career progression and generous reward and recognition programs including some amazing discounts at our Holiday Parks... so come join the team and apply now We look forward to receiving your application. Please note that to be considered for this role you must be able to work in Australia and provide evidence of working rights. All employees of Ingenia Communities must undergo a National Police Check.
