Senior Full Stack Developer – DevOps & Cloud Engineering - 12months

QIX Consulting is representing a client seeking a highly skilled engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications. You'll bridge application development with infrastructure automation, delivering innovative and reliable digital solutions for a global customer base.

What you'll do

Application Development

  • Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using
    Java, Golang, and PHP
  • Build responsive front-end interfaces with
    React, Angular, or
  • Write secure, maintainable code aligned with best practices and design patterns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Infrastructure & DevOps

  • Architect and implement
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Deploy to
    AWS or GCP
    leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Run, and GKE
  • Containerise apps with
    Docker
    and orchestrate via
    Kubernetes
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using
    Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools

Testing & Quality

  • Develop unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code reliability
  • Integrate automated testing into deployment workflows
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to sprint planning, architecture reviews, and DevOps strategy
  • Work closely with QA, cloud engineers, and security teams for delivery excellence

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years' full stack development experience
    , with 2+ years in senior or DevOps-focused roles
  • Proven experience in
    cloud-native deployments
    and
    infrastructure automation
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in client-facing environments

Highly regarded:

  • Experience with observability tools (
    Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
    )
  • Exposure to
    serverless and microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
  • Prior consulting or client delivery background
