Full Stack Developer - Melbourne Based

I'm currently working with a well-established technology-driven organisation that's looking to bring on an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure web applications and services
  • Develop and optimise APIs and microservices using Java and
  • Build intuitive, responsive UIs with React, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3
  • Manage and integrate relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Contribute to architectural design discussions and technical decision-making
  • Work with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and containerised environments
  • Use version control tools (Git, SVN) to manage and maintain clean, reliable codebases

Skills Needed:

  • Strong experience in Java backend development (3+ years)
  • Extensive experience with Python and be able to demonstrate it
  • Proficiency with SQL and database technologies (Postgres, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Strong skills in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and SASS/LESS
  • Familiarity with and Python
  • Language Models - Git, GitHub
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture
  • Experience deploying solutions on cloud environments (Azure preferred)

Location:

Melbourne - Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

Salary:

$115K-$130K + Super
