Overview of our role

The Property Delivery Lead plays a collaborative and supportive part in fitouts and capital works, working alongside the National Asset Team and Facilities Management team to thoughtfully plan, manage and deliver high-quality internal fitout and capital works projects across the Jemena portfolio. Partnering closely with the National Asset Manager, National Facilities Manager and a wide range of stakeholders, this role helps turn business needs into well-considered outcomes. With a strong focus on care, safety and sustainability, the role gently guides works programmes from early planning through to completion — ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with HSE, sustainability and regulatory requirements.
A little about you
- property industry experience particularly in the delivery of Property related projects (e.g. office and warehouse fitouts, capital works)
- strong interpersonal skills particularly maintaining effective relationships; ability to communicate effectively; verbal and written
- delivery of fitout and capital works programmes and to a nationally diverse property portfolio
- experience in working in a with multi-vendor environment of probity and process in relating to quoting, tendering and financial forecasting to small to medium projects
- preferably you have experience in the energy or utilities sector
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- strong understanding of project management methodologies as it applies to fitout and capital works programmes
- ability to complete business cases, works cost summaries, forecasting and delivery to budget
- demonstrable experience in partnering with Internal Communications, Workplace and Change Management SMEs
- well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Health Safety and Environment legislation and regulations, National Construction Code and Australian Standards relating directly to property and facilities in commercial and industrial environments.
- SAP, MS Office Suite incl MS Project
