We ensure our supply chain network consistently delivers high-quality components that meet Resmed's specifications, volume demands, and delivery timelines.

As a Senior Supplier Engineer (Electronics & Test), you will play a key role in ensuring our suppliers—especially those involved in PCBA and system-level testing—deliver quality, scalable, and compliant solutions. You will lead technical assessments, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives, enabling Resmed to maintain high-quality standards across its global supply network.

Let's talk about Responsibilities

  • Supplier audits and assessments with a focus on test systems and compliance.
  • Manage external test consultants and support system-level functional testing (e.g., Finished Goods testing at EMS partners).
  • Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing Test teams to implement scalable, end-to-end test solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve technical, manufacturing, and quality issues with suppliers relating to test systems.
  • Translate design and quality requirements into practical procedures for inspection, evaluation, and testing.
  • Drive supplier process validations (e.g., CN or SRFC) and change control initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop junior Supplier Engineers and Graduates.
  • Support suppliers in applying lean and quality tools (SPC, Six Sigma, PFMEA, etc.) to improve product quality and delivery.
  • Identify and lead cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives across products and processes.
  • Plan and implement supplier capability development aligned with ResMed's technology and business needs.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and test systems (ICT, FCT, assembly-level testing).
  • Proven track record in supplier development, quality, and test system evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical tools (SPC, Gage R&R, Minitab or JMP) and electronic design tools (e.g., Altium).
  • Experience bringing new products/processes into production and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, tailored to both technical and commercial audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
  • Experience in Continuous Improvements with understanding of Cost of Quality
  • Influencing skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing and test automation environments.
