The Role: 

CoreStaff Townsville are seeking experienced Automotive Trade Assistants specialising in 4x4 Accessory Fitting for our local client. 

You will be Fitting and installing various accessories onto vehicles and mechanical systems, including: 

  • Trays
  • Canopies
  • Bullbars
  • Winches
  • Lights
  • Ladder racks.
  • Brackets and other components
  • Toolboxes
  • Seat covers
  • Canopy glazing
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and instructions to ensure accurate installation.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble and fit accessories securely.
  • Test installed accessories to ensure they function correctly and meet safety standards.
  • Conduct quality checks to verify that installations meet company standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and on time.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accessories Fitter or similar role, with a focus on fitting trays, canopies, bullbars, winches, lights, ladder racks, toolboxes, seat covers, and canopy glazing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Drivers Licence (Manual preferrable)
  • Previous automotive electrical experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to pass National Police Check
