Galaxy Personnel currently has some exciting opportunities available for experienced Maintenance Fitters & Trades Assistants to join this growing Food Manufacturer in the Northern Suburbs. We currently have positions available on the following shifts:

- 2 Trades Assistants for early morning shift
- 1 Fitter Day Shift
- 2 Fitters Afternoon shift

If you have a proven background in the Food or Pharmaceutical industries and keen to secure work with a company that has a growing product range in the market, this is a great opportunity to become part of their growth and expansion with the installation of new machinery and automation.

As a Trades Assistant you will be responsible for the moving of machinery ready for production, preparing machinery for cleaning including some dismantling and reassembly, this is a great role if you are looking to have your afternoon's free to enjoy some leisure activities whether it is going to the gym or going fishing, as it will be an early morning start.

We also require Maintenance Fitters whose key responsibilities will include preventative and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications and installations, with a heavy emphasis on growth and change and machinery upgrades.

These are permanent full-time opportunities or alternatively labour hire with the view to perm if you would prefer, the company are looking for a team that is progressive, committed, and loyal who enjoy working in an environment that is family friendly and care about their people. Parking on site, discounts on food products and regular staff lunches. Paid overtime is also available.

**Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
