About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Pinter Group as a Construction and Property Development Bookkeeper. Working on a casual basis, you will be responsible for the full cycle of bookkeeping for our construction and property development projects based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial statements
  • Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assisting with payroll and employee expense reimbursements
  • Preparing and filing business activity statements and other tax returns
  • Providing ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, within the construction or property development industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and compliance requirements
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero
