About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at the Greenbank Pet, Pool & Hardware store in Greenbank, Queensland. This is a Part time position is offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall store operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product recommendations
  • Process sales transactions
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and organisation
  • Restock and replenish shelves as needed
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting your colleagues

What we're looking for

  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, helpful attitude is a must
  • Basic product knowledge or the willingness to learn about our product range
  • The ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
