We're working with a high-growth, product-led fintech that's looking for a .NET Technical Lead to guide one of their core engineering teams. This is a hybrid role that blends technical leadership, architecture, and hands-on development - ideal for someone who thrives on both mentoring others and writing code.

You'll lead a cross-functional team of 4-5 engineers (mix of onshore/offshore), contributing to complex, high-impact parts of the platform while driving best practices, team performance, and engineering excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading technical delivery and mentoring within a modern fullstack team (.NET/AWS and React), staying about 40% hands-on.
  • Collaborating with PMs, other Technical Leads, and senior engineers to assess, plan, and prioritise work across projects and incidents.
  • Supporting the team with architecture and design decisions within an established framework.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives- this isn't just feature development, it's about uplifting how the whole team delivers.
  • Managing incident response, ensuring product quality, and assigning work in line with team capacity and business needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in .NET with good knowledge of AWS and React
  • Proven ability to lead teams or projects in a technical capacity.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and domain-driven design.
  • Strong understanding of engineering best practices including testing, code quality, and delivery pipelines.
  • A collaborative, mentoring mindset and excellent communication skills.
