About the client
Our client operates one of Australia's largest manganese mining operations, located on Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory. As part of a long-term partnership, WorkPac supplies both industrial and professional personnel to support operational efficiency and continued growth across all departments.
About the role
WorkPac are seeking a Site Administrator to join the team on a day shift roster at Groote Eylandt. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent computer skills, and a professional, team-oriented approach. This role plays a key part in supporting onsite operations and ensuring the smooth flow of daily administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities

Manage central and department inboxes, and coordinate travel bookings

Provide administrative support across site operations
-
Order and monitor office supplies, manage department spreadsheets
-
Onboard new starters and contractors
-
Raise purchase and service orders
-
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
-
Assist with general administrative tasks including laminating, shredding, binding
-
Deliver high-level customer service and phone reception duties
Skills and Experience Required
-
Manual C Class driver's licence (compulsory)
-
Strong computer skills and administrative experience
-
Demonstrated experience in accounts, business administration or similar
-
High attention to detail and a process improvement mindset
-
Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
-
Ability to work under pressure, use initiative and meet deadlines
-
Flexible, courteous, motivated, and a strong team player
