Executive Assistant – Business Services
St Margaret's Anglican Girls School and St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School are seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant – Business Services to support key leaders and contribute to the dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced environment of our shared Business Services team.
The role
As the Executive Assistant – Business Services, you will provide high-level, confidential secretarial, administrative, and organisational support to the Assistant Director – Corporate Services and the Assistant Director – Finance. You will play a pivotal role in supporting school operations, logistics, finance, and compliance requirements across both campuses. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high-level, confidential secretarial, administrative and organisational support.
- Positively and proactively contributing to the broader business services team.
- Supporting the risk management, logistics and operational requirements of the schools.
- Contributing to key projects relevant to the business services team.
- Developing and maintaining systems, processes and procedures to ensure the effective management of workflow through the business office.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced, skilled, innovative and proactive administrator who demonstrates:
- A high level of initiative and ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Well-developed computer skills including advanced skills with the Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn new computer systems quickly. Your attention to detail will be 100%.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills and the ability to remain positive whilst managing many tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
- The ability to work well in a team is essential as the role works with a range of staff across the schools.
- The ability to quickly grasp an understanding of the school structures and expectations and in turn pre-empt what is required by the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well various stakeholders across the school communities.
