About the Role
As a Parts Interpreter at our Rockhampton Branch, you'll be the go-to person for sourcing and supplying truck and trailer parts for our customers. Whether it's identifying the right parts, placing accurate orders, or offering technical advice, you'll ensure our customers get what they need—on time, every time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Helping customers find the right parts—by phone, email, or over the counter
- Using catalogues and systems to identify and supply correct truck or trailer parts
- Preparing quotes and processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Following up on deliveries and keeping customers informed
- Working with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure timely part availability
- Promoting our online ordering tools and current promotions
- Assisting with stock control, stocktakes, and keeping the branch organised
- Pitching in where needed to support smooth daily operations
- Following safety protocols and meeting Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
What You'll Bring
- Experience in a Parts Interpreter role—ideally in truck, trailer, or automotive industries
- Solid knowledge of vehicle parts and cataloguing systems
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Good computer skills and experience with inventory systems
- A customer-first mindset and a proactive team attitude
- Great attention to detail and a willingness to learn
