Calliope Plumbing, a leader in the commercial and industrial plumbing industry, is seeking two highly motivated Apprentice Plumbers to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. We're looking for individuals who are ready to play a key role in the growth of our business, working on diverse and challenging projects in a fast-paced environment.

Our team works with Tier 1 Construction Companies on several local projects, including Queensland Education school upgrades, green energy conversions, hotel refurbishments, and new constructions.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Plumber, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience by assisting our qualified plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on various commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up and build a solid foundation for your future career.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Learning and practicing various plumbing techniques, including pipe cutting, threading, soldering, and jointing.
  • Preparing and cleaning work areas to ensure a safe and organised environment.
  • Learning to read and interpret plans and order materials.
  • Participating in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications
  • White Card or the ability to obtain one.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
  • A keen interest in the trade is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks.
