At Hostplus, we believe that informed decisions today lead to a secure retirement tomorrow. We're seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Superannuation Advisor to join our team in the Northern Territory, delivering high-quality education and limited scope personal advice to our members.

The opportunity

As a Superannuation Advisor, you will play a key role in helping members understand the value of their superannuation and make informed decisions that support their long-term financial wellbeing. You'll deliver tailored education and advice across a range of settings—face-to-face, virtual, and remote—through workshops, seminars, webinars, and individual consultations.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely limited scope intrafund advice within AFSL guidelines.
  • Deliver engaging education and advice sessions at employer sites and member events across NT.
  • Identify opportunities for comprehensive financial advice and manage referrals end-to-end.
  • Collaborate across departments to support seamless execution of advice campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
  • Represent Hostplus at stakeholder events, conferences, and awards programs, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.

About you:

  • To be successful in this position you must be RG146 & must have passed the FASEA exam and have a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning or attained the minimum education and training standards, met the requirements or are scheduled to finish prior to 1 January 2026
  • Ability to give limited advice in line with Tax (financial) advice services
  • Possess a high level of knowledge relating to superannuation and insurance, and its role in the broader financial sector
  • Practical knowledge of, and experience in using, financial planning software and CRM systems (XPlan or similar) and the maintenance of detailed client and practitioner notes and records using such systems desired.
  • A high commitment to delivering quality advice and service whilst being an active member of a productive team, including the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people
  • Well-developed written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-management in order to manage a busy work schedule, work autonomously and a willingness to embrace ambiguity and change.
