As Schlam's HSE Administrator, you'll be right at the heart of the action making sure our people are protected, our systems are sharp and our standards are second to none. This isn't a background desk job. You'll be part of a fast-paced, tight-knit team that values those who take pride in their work and care about their impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Your days will be full of purpose and impact. In this role, you'll:

  • Own our HSE systems including managing and maintaining INX (our incident reporting platform)
  • Keep our compliance on point by updating policies, tracking training, preparing reports and getting audit-ready
  • Deliver powerful safety communications through bulletins, alerts, newsletters and meeting content that actually gets read
  • Support injury management by booking appointments, tracking return-to-work plans and being a steady presence when people need it most
  • Help bring our environmental reporting to life by tracking waste, water, emissions and more
  • Champion LEAN thinking by bringing fresh eyes and smart systems to how we operate
  • Keep the risk registers sharp, because prevention beats cure every time

What We're Looking For

We're chasing more than just experience. We want energy, attention to detail and a true commitment to safety. Here's what helps:

  • 1–2 years in a similar HSE or compliance admin role
  • Confidence using digital systems (especially INX and Excel)
  • Experience in mining, heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
  • A relevant qualification in health and safety (or be working towards one)
  • The ability to work independently, stay organised, and communicate clearly
