The Role
  • Develop and implement community engagement plan and strategies by working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to facilitate inclusive and innovative activities.
  • Advocate for improved services and ensure program is culturally safe and responsive to community needs.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals, lead discussion and focus groups, and serve as a vital link to the community.
About You
  • Understand AOD support, harm reduction and prevention services.
  • Experience in community development or health promotion.
  • Knowledge in building and maintaining networks and relationships with other health services or community organisations.
  • Experience in working with community members from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Tertiary qualification in AOD, community services or related field (desirable)
