The Role: Field Mercantile Agent
We are seeking a Mercantile Agent to join our team, servicing the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Hunter regions in NSW. In this role, you will represent leading financial institutions, requiring exceptional presentation, communication, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field visits for discovery interviews, debt collections, repossessions, field calls, process serving, and investigations.
  • Write detailed, accurate reports and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates via our mobile app.
  • Spend approximately 30–35 hours per week in the field and allocate the remainder of the week to administrative work.
  • Travel extensively in the field—reliable, safe driving is a must.

A company vehicle can be provided for work-related travel.

What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you will:

  • Be professional, well-organized, and an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior in all interactions.
  • Show an ability to write clear, detailed reports and manage your own administrative tasks effectively.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current NSW Collector's Licence (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence and a good driving record.
  • Basic computer and report-writing skills, with the ability to use our mobile app for job updates.
  • Unrestricted availability during the role's operational hours.

Preferred Experience:
Previous experience as a mercantile agent is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

  • Performance bonus
