About the Role:
We're looking for a confident and composed Childcare Operations Leader to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Brings hands-on experience in childcare centre operations

  • Approaches challenges with a calm and steady presence

  • Listens actively, communicates with care, and builds trust with staff and families

  • Makes thoughtful, informed decisions — not snap judgments

  • Encourages creativity and continuous improvement in daily practices

  • Understands the value of compliance and quality while always thinking ahead

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support day-to-day centre operations

  • Guide and empower educators with empathy and leadership

  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with families and staff

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices

  • Foster a warm, innovative, and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive service excellence and growth

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in childcare centre operations or leadership

  • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills

  • A calm, composed approach to problem-solving

  • Creative and forward-thinking mindset

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care
