About the role

Peel Community Care Inc' is seeking compassionate and dedicated Multi Skilled Support Workers to join our team in Mandurah and Peel Area , WA. This part-time position is an integral part of our mission to provide exceptional support services to enable our aged care clients to live independently in their own homes within the local community.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with a range of personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, and a shop by list service
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and accessing local shops and services.
  • Monitoring client well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team
  • Promoting client independence and encouraging participation in therapeutic and recreational activities
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

  • Must reside in the City of Mandurah, Shire of Murray or Shire of Waroona.
  • Experience in aged care, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients
  • A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence
  • Completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Current Police Check less than 3 months old
  • The right to work in Australia permanently with no restrictions
