The role

We currently have a six-month fixed term, full-time opportunity, available for a Contracts and Procurement Lead, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

In this role, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality procurement and contract management services that support GESB's strategic and operational goals. You'll oversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensure compliance with legislation and policy, and provide expert advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurement planning, contract governance and risk management.

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you'll join a collaborative Finance team and play a key role in building procurement capability, driving continuous improvement, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.

As our Contracts and Procurement Lead, you will bring:

  • At least 3 years' experience in procurement, tendering and contract management, preferably within the WA Public Sector
  • Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures, including change management
  • Strong understanding of Western Australian Procurement Rules
  • Proven experience in developing contract and procurement systems and processes
