The Position

Working for a well established Australian Freight Forwarder you will be well rewarded for your experience in import/export operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating/registering jobs for import/export customers
  • Complete bookings, arrange cartage and monitor all activities whilst updating clients on shipments
  • Liaising with carriers and overseas offices
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient communication
  • Maintain a strong rapport with customers and service providers
  • Liaising with clients every step of the way for imports/exports
  • Monitoring customs clearance status, chasing documentation

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven import operations experience within the Australian market 2+years
  • Good knowledge of Australian Customs and Quarantine requirements
  • Sea/air freight experience required
  • Experience using Cargowise
  • Full working rights within the Australian market
