Jetcrete is a full service industry leader in the underground mining industry providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia in total ground support and Shotcrete application.

We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated people for our Operations at Prominent Hill Mine site for the position of:

UNDERGROUND FITTER

All applicants will be required to meet the following employment criteria:

  • Ability to pass a police clearance, a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
  • Hold or be able to obtain surface and underground inductions
  • Hold a relevant trade certificate
  • Hold a current driver's licence

It is desirable that applicants have:

  • General heavy machinery experience in servicing & repairs
  • Experience with SANDVIK/Normet and general underground machinery (highly regarded)
  • Experience in the underground environment (highly regarded)
  • A high level of diagnostic skill in electrical and hydraulic systems (preferred)
  • Sound auto electrical knowledge
  • Self-motivation and leadership skills (highly regarded)
  • The ability to work unsupervised.
