Fitters required for FIFO in SA
**Your new company**
Our client is an industry-leading engineering and fabrication company that were established in 2014 and provide services and products throughout Australia. They have been servicing the mining industry for many years and have developed expertise in pipe and structural fabrication, coded welding, civil works, and more.
**Your new role**
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be required to undertake fitting and machining as directed by the Supervisors, attend various sites to undertake installation and service work, assist in the workshop when required, oversee performance of trades within the team, and supervise one or more apprentice, from time to time to, contribute to their on-the-job training.
The workshop is based in Edinburgh but you will be working on sites such as Carrapateena, Prominent Hill, Iron Knob, etc. You will have the opportunity to pick a roster that suits your lifestyle (1:1, 2:1, 2:2, etc).
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Fit & healthy
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Any experience within Oil & Gas would be advantageous
- Experience working in underground mining would be highly regarded
